Old Stone Bridges - Παλιά Πέτρινα Γεφύρια


It has two big arches and one smaller, so it is considered to be a 2arches stonebridge. It was built in 1748 on the Mpagiotikos river with the contribution of G. Bezergianni from Kipi . It took its name from the old watermill nearby and it is the oldest bridge of Zagori.

Kontodimos bridge: In Zagori the problem of communication between the village Koukouli and Mpagias,solved it Tolis Kontodimos from Bradeto, that gave the money and was built in 1750 the bridge which it took the name Lampridis reports as donors Noutso Kontodimo as well as Noutso Karamesini from Kapesobo. It was build with one arch,stone-built, built in the narrow point where the rocks of Koukouli and the rocks of Mpagias are found in near distance and are useful for support. From under it has arch in order to widen the street.




Kokkoris bridge: The bridge of Noutsos (also known as bridge of Kokkoros) is situated near the village Koukouli in Zagori, 39 km from Ioannina, over the river of Voidomatis. Noutsos Kontodimos from Vradeto donated the money for building of the bridge, which took the benefactor's name. An inscription on the bridge refers the year 1750 or 1752 as the year built. It is also called 'bridge of Kokkoris (or Kokkoros) because Kokkoros from Koukouli, who had a mill nearby, gave money for restoration works in 1910. Lately, the bridge was repaired again from the union of Zagorians.

Misiou bridge: Another picturesque bridge in the area is "Misiou" which was built in 1748 by Alexis Misios.
